Youth Lens on the Silk Roads: best photos from the International Silk Roads Photo Contest - 5th edition
This album showcases the fifth edition of UNESCO’s Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads photo contest, supported by the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation. The contest highlights the legacy of the Silk Roads, an ancient network of routes that connected Asia, Europe, and Africa, fostering exchanges of goods, ideas, and cultures that still shape societies today.
This edition, on the theme Architecture, Monuments, and Urbanism, features 66 photographs by young people aged 14–25. Their work captures landmarks, styles, and urban landscapes that reflect cultural dialogue and shared heritage, offering a fresh perspective on the enduring influence of the Silk Roads in the modern world.
