Architecture mug

Sale price10,00€

Featuring a sketch of UNESCO headquarters, this blue mug pays tribute to the Organisation’s building. A modern architectural gem designed by iconic 20th-century architects such as Bernard Zehrfuss, Marcel Breuer and Pier Luigi Nervi. Built in Paris between 1955 and 1958, the UNESCO headquarters is an architectural project serving an intellectual and cultural mission of international significance. A modernist and brutalist masterpiece, this 3-hectare building in the shape of a three-pointed star, combining concrete, travertine, glass and wood, was designed to foster the circulation of knowledge, the meeting of cultures and the fluidity of their interactions. Home to works of art and experts from all nations, UNESCO Headquarters is as much a symbol of peace as it is an invitation to mutual understanding.
